For bringing to attention my Mouthwatering Monday has been MIA.
As many of you know.. I have been having some crazy hours at work as well as being busy with some projects and stuff. So the last few weeks have been a mess. So for this last Monday's Mouthwatering entry.. it is a tidbit of advice.
NEVER. EVER. EVER. IN your long legged life..
Turn down a dinner invite from Kristy Egan. Makes for a mouth watering monday, or tuesday.. or anyday.

Trippin on Tuesday..
Things that have me trippin today..
1. Woman leaving 18 month old in car for hours and baby dies. Trying not to be judgemental here, but how you just accidental forget your 18 month old is in the car hours after you have carried in your groceries. Accidents do happen, and its so sad. Let it be a huge learning experience for us all to be more careful.
2. Roman Spencer the last 3 nights.. This whole waking up at 1 am. He woke up last night, threw a huge tantrum for his dad, I come out in the living to try to console him and he is acting like a wild bangee crying and fussing and worming off my lap and sitting on the floor screaming. I am thinking something is seriously wrong and I am pointing to my mouth.. asking mouth.. does it hurt.. ears do they hurt.. EFF i wish we could communicate. So then my mom comes out and tries to console him.. no luck. Then I decide forget it I am taking him back to my bed.. We walk down the hall.. Roman still pitchin a fit.. and as soon as I cross the threshold to my room.. Roman instantly stops crying.. perks up.. says "THANKS!" and smiles. WTF people? He sits on my bed pointing and staring at the TV... until I turn on the Backyardigans and then he says "YES!" and then "Thanks". I need to stop this insanity!
3. Gas Prices.. nuff said.
4. The groom who karate kicked his wife after the ceremony. Couldn't he just have changed his mind. Jerk.
5. The Miley Cyrus ordeal. Note to Miley: You are 15. Note to Vanity Fair: She is 15. Note to media: "We really don't care that much so quit exploiting it."
6. Bush scolding congress on the state of the Economy. Um. Okay. DA.
7. My office building's heater is stuck on at 82 degrees. I am sweating like a you know what. Been a rough day.
8. The creepy man Austrian man who fathered 6 children with his own daughter who he held captive and the wife/mother didn't know. UM GROSS. I wonder if Dr. Phil has called him.
9. Jimi Hendrix sex tape. I wonder if drugs are involved.

Fun with FrontRunner...
Roman running around the platform after I gave up wrestling with him.
Grandpa taking his turn holding him.
In case you wondered what station we got on...
Waiting on the bench to catch our train because we are fancy world travelers and stuff.
Roman scoping out the terrain out the window. Not much of a view. But he liked it.
My one thing that really bothered me.... Is Chivalry Dead? After wrestling my toddler in line to get on the train we finally get on to not even ONE open seat. So my baby an I rode most of the ride standing up balancing an holding on to the bar. Finally we walked upstairs and I nice Gentleman offered me his seat. I just could not believe how lame some men are. I mean it could be the way I was raised but my dad or brothers would be the first to jump up and offer a seat to a lady, not to mention one holding a baby. I tell ya.. for being the "Happy Valley" there are some pretty classless men out there. There were a few other mothers with small children trying to control their kids as well while balancing. I guess I should get over it.
Anyways it was a fun day and I was happy we took Roman. He liked the trip and afterwards we tried out the Fire House in Centerville which I have been wanting to do for a while. It was very tasty! A must try!

Juno.. A must see!
So. I just got done watching Juno. I have had many people recommend I watch it, because it has to do with adoption. I loved this show. It was about adoption but just so much more, it was sooo hilarious. It gave me all of the good feelings I want when I watch a movie. Happy, Weepy, Amused, Sad and Warm and Fuzzy all over. :) Juno is such a great character and just so entertaining. I could relate with adoptive mother a little but I am hoping I was not that uptight, but I think I was in a lot of ways. You just worry so much the birth mother is going to change her mind. But anyways this movie was great, Juno has an amazingly dry sense of humor that I loved and the music is so awesome. I would recommend it to anyone. It had a few suggestive spots and she dropped the "F" Bomb during labor, but hey who can blame her. Heheh. Defiantly going to return to the redbox and go buy my own version. It ROCKED!

Trippin on Tuesday..
Edit. Thanks to my ever knowing husband for pointing it out.. I spelled polygamist wrong. How can I be a good blogger if I spell nearly every word on my blog wrong, guess I did not run spell check. So embarrassed. I bet the self taught polygamist women are way better spellers than I am. I am going to crawl under a rock now. LOVES!
Things that are disturbing me this week.
1. Three men microwave human poop at the 7/11 in Sandy. So glad that I don't live there. Crazy ass people microwaving crap?
2. The Polygamist Mother's with children over the age of 5 are separated and sent back to the compound. Ummm. Not okay. If they abuse children, they abuse women.
3. SNOW. Yesterday it was 82 degrees and I got a little hot at play group. Today its effing snowing. So not okay.
4. Chuck getting surgery again. Dang knee!
5. Oil prices at an all time high.
6. Orphan boy living in garbage DUMP. People do understand that it costs at a minimum $25K to adopt over sea's, right?
7. My chubby level. I need to get under control. But I just want treats. Tomorrow I am starting my newest diet.. chase everything you eat with a head of spinach filled with e-coli.
8. The 80s' bangs on the women from the FLDS Church. Holy Wave. Not okay. And obviously they do not have a tweezers. Holy UNI. Okay thats rude. Sorry.
Okay done for now.
xoxo.

Things that make me go hmmmm..
1. There term "terrible two's". Who penned that phrase? Do the terrible two's start at 12 months really?
2. Where my child learned to bitch slap. Last night my cutie cousin Sandy came over with her darling child Kennedy and Roman was very pissed they were leaving. He threw a tantrum at the front door. A total first. Then his daddy picked him up and Roman cocked his little arm back as far as he could and BITCH SLAPPED Chuck like no other. I mean the SLAP was loud and hard. Sand, Chuck and I were shocked for a moment and Chuck took Roman too time out for a minute while Sandy and I laughed our butts off. I know.. its not funny.. but really it is. Chuck laughed afterwards too but I mean it was a lethal slap. I was pretty embarrased that my kid could be such a BRAT.
3. Why my memory is not as sharp as some others. My cousin was telling me that another younger cousin of ours remembers us tickling him until it hurts. I dont remember things like that. He had to have been 3 tops as I am a good 13 years older than him. I remember special times a child, or times I was really awful. Like the time I was upset at my mom for not taking me with her to Pocatello one day and leaving me home with the kids. I think I was probably around 11. When she and my dad got home I told them that the radio station called and we won $1000 and just needed to go pick it up. Now in 1991 $1000 was a lot of money. Still is, but for a radio station in Pocatello then that was a lot of money to be giving away to an 11 year old. So how my mother believed me I will never know. I most have been completely rotten and a marvelous liar. Man I still feel bad about that.
4. This weather. Nice, bad, warm, cold, which is it. Cant wait for this weekend though! YEAH!!
XOXO,
Jess

Trippin' on Tuesday.
After being told by a friend that I use the word “disturbed” a lot I decided that once a week I am going to share a list of things that have most “disturbed” me in the last week.
I think that Tuesday is a good day for it. Because Tuesday is just a plain blah day. Like Monday is the bright new future of a new week. Wednesday is Hump Day. Thursday is almost Friday. Friday just plain rocks(what is better than a Friday night hanging out at home just knowing you have the whole weekend ahead of you.) Saturday is a special day as it’s the day we get ready for Sunday. Sunday lazy afternoons are the best.. I despise Sunday nights.. as the reality of another week sets in but thank goodness Desperate Housewives is back this weekend to bring me some trashy cheer.
Anyways.. so now Tuesday is going to have a post called. “Trippin’ on Tuesday”.
Ahh.. the birth of a new post:
A list of the things that disturbed me most this last week:
1. The Maverick on Shepherd Lane. I stopped there yesterday to fill my mug on the way home and the gentleman who helped me had a name tag that said: “Something Galactic Commander” (don’t quote me on that.. it was something like that). Now as I am waiting patiently in line, he keeps telling everyone their total and adding “with a vengeance” to it.
Example: .95 with a vengeance. This is not okay. He had long scraggly hair and needed a shower and I just felt dirty afterwards.
2. At work I sit behind a window with 2 way glass. I see very disturbing things. Like people checking themselves out. And homeless people grooming. The girl who used to sit at my desk seen a homeless man whip out all of his glory and pee. I am patiently waiting for this to happen.
3. Speaking of Pee. Horses Peeing. That is disturbing. It give me the creepy crawlers.
4. Men who speak to boobs and not your face. This happens a lot.
5. Warren Jeffs and the FLDS. 100 outbuildings in that compound? I mean seriously who knows what could go on behind all of those doors.
6. Cockroaches. They found 2 more GINORMOUS ones at my work today.
7. Pregnant Men. I mean EWW. I am so jealous. He even had a glow.
8. Moldy strawberries. I bought a bunch of them on sale and forgot about them in the downstairs fridge. UGH.
9. President Bush. I mean does he have to be so creepy and retarded?
10. Gas prices defiantly disturb me. I mean I am actually considering using the FrontRunner once it opens to get to work. Although I am slighty disturbed about the people who hang out at the Trax stop by my work. I mean SCARY people. I thought about possibly taking my sweet awesome purple bike. But I mean who can ride a bike in heels? Not me.
11. Folding clothes. I just received a phone call from my mother informing me she couldn’t find a thing for my Roman to wear. If anyone knows me well they know that Roman’s clothing situation is complete out of control. He has more clothes than Mariah “MIMI” Carey. What does this mean to me? Washing, folding, organizing and putting clothes away today after work. That plain sucks. Yup. Its disturbing.
12. Forgeting to do my mouthwatering monday post. Enough said.

Going Green.
Am I the only one who is disturbed that we live in a greater metropolitan area and we have no "pick-up" recycling services. I have been thinking alot about our environment lately. And how much it has changed even since I was a little girl. The sun is hotter, the air is dirtier, the ozone is thinner. This concerns me. I feel like if we choose to bring little children to this earth we should be better about taking care of it. (Sorry I will get off my soap box.) That is pretty hypocritical of me. I am not very good about being environmentally conscious. But today is the dawn of a new day. I checked some websites around town and found that we can drop off our recycling at different locations to the Wasatch Integrated Waste Management District. Sooo.. I am going to start taking my recycling there. I think we should recycle as a neighbor hood and show our children that its important to recycle. So any ladies in the 'hood wanting to join me? I will be placing 4 garbage bins in the inside of the fence against my house on the east side for recycling. Each bin will be labeled for the following:
PAPER- Magazines, Newspaper, ect.
GLASS- all colors but brown. (no need to remove labels)
ALUMINUM/TIN- Pop cans, canned good containers, ect.
PLASTIC- Number's 1 and 2 only. (look for a number, usually within a triangle, located on the bottom of the plastic container)
Please feel free to go in my gate and put your recycling there. Lets make a conscious effort to better or environment together!
*Special note: I just spell checked my post and believe it or not I had 11 frickin' miss spells. Ugh.*
**PS. Checked my spelling again, make that 15.

Tubes and Tude's and Talent's!
Yesterday we went to yet another appointment regarding Roman and his ears. Good news! The fluid in his ears has complete cleared up. Not even the the normal "fluid" that is there. No redness, nodda. So we are going to hold off on the tubes and go in frequently to see if any fluid comes back. I am hoping not. But we shall see.
Roman is becoming quite the flirt. Our Pedi is a female and he was smiling and grinning at her through the entire appointment. She is a older philipino woman in her late 50's and she was just in hog heaven. He thought she was playing a game with him and just kept giving her lovey faces. I was so jealous! Wish I had my camera! Anyways, we about fell off the chair because he has gained nearly 1 pound in the last 2 weeks. Up to 23lbs 1 oz. and a whopping 32 inches long. I swear that the length was off but still, my baby is growing! I am so happy! He has been eating like a champ the last week now that his ears dont hurt. Its so fun to watch him grow.
His new word of the week is "YES"! "Do you want to watch Backyardigan's?" YES! "Do you want to go down the slide?" YES!
ITs so cute the way he says it too.
In other news I am going to start my own photography business part time. Its something I really enjoy. I have been so inspired by it and its something that I could see myself doing full time in the long long away future. Like years. But in the mean time it will be a great hobby and a good way to make some extra money. :) My little business name is RomaBee Photography.
Roman + Brittan= RomaBee. :) So watch for a launch to come.
