Interesting..

Historically candidates have ignored the rumor mills. But Barack Obama has recently came out with a new web page- fighting the untruths that are being spread about him and his family. I think it is neat to stand up for what you believe it and fight against the things that are being spread. Click on the link below if you are interested.

I've never even heard of most of the rumors on the site. I actually do think that it's good to call people on the lies but I also wonder if the motivating factor behind this site is to get public sympathy for being smeared. It is a great and strategic political move. I think all the candiadates are being mis-quoted or quoted out of context like this or soon will be.

I would love them to address the "America is mean" comment and the a few of the clips from Rev. Wright anti-american or anti-white sermons where it shows clips of Obama nodding in agreement. I know this is more than likely taking out of context too but it makes you wonder when they don't address it on the site.

You can also check out that site and it has some great info.

When you say the "America is mean" do you mean Michelle's comment on now being proud of America?

I'm referring to Michelle's comment but everything I've heard on it has been negative.
