That's horrible! I know I don't understand the full scenario because I haven't lived in that kind of fear but I wish these women would step up, stop complaining and get the help that is being offered on a silver platter to them now to save their children from growing up in this kind of abusive environment. I understand that most of them are feeling threatened but if you really love your children you'll sacrifice your safety for theirs. If they would have done that the state of Texas wouldn't have had to come in and do it for them.This Jessup man is now their leader and I'm sure he's passed on his "breaking" technique to other men in the compound.We know they have cell phones and they could have used them like this 16 year old girl did to help their children. Those women could have grouped together to fight this instead they report each other to maintain a status in the home. Just a bunch of crabs in a barrel pulling each other down! Sorry to rant so but I'm pissed that they wouldn't do anything for their children and now they are bawling about the consequences to the media.

If that's not child abuse, then what is! I don't care who it is, nobody does that to my kids! Hitting/spanking your kids doesn't make them behave...it teaches that it's ok to hit other people!

That is so sad it makes me sick and now I am going to go hug all my babies even if the oldest is 8.
I guess I got lucky not to have to deal with that kind of sick horrible life.

This whole situation is so so sad, and its sad for the children. They are so isolated they have no idea that there is a different REAL world out there. All the sudden they are all taken from their families and that has to be so terrifying and so confusing to the kids. Anyway, I just feel bad for the kids- I feel bad for the women because they grow up with this engrained in their brains that this is the ONLY way to live, the ONLY way you'll get to Heaven and you'll be damned if you don't live this way. If you question it, you don't get to see your family, your friends and your out of the community and damned to hell. Its all just really sad.

P.S. I in aboslutley NO WAY agree with this lifestyle, I think its disgusting on every level. All I'm saying is that the kids are innocent, and those kids grow up to be adults who only know one way of life.

Yeah I watched that last nite.I have a love hate relationship with Nancy Grace lol.This whole thing baffles me how do they get so brain washed or whatever they do to them.But when they escape they are just fine and like omg he abused me and my kids and so on.I guess its just me.I dont wanna judge anyones beliefs or religions I really dont but I feel that when children and woman are being abused mentally and physically its no longer a judgement on religious beliefs.These children and woman need to be rescued but how when the woman dont think anythings wrong.I will pray for them I guess thats all we can do.OMG did ya see or hear abt how they drain the beast.All the woman collect welfare and the men or husband gets all the money.They drain the beast that they call our goverment and yes I am not a big fan of goverment but come on cant something be done abt that.
